On the Occidental
Coast, in one of the most tourist and important
places in Cantabria. 62 km. far from Santander and
around the Oyambre Park; pretty beaches, a well-conserved

The Altamira Cave,
discovered by Marcelino Sánz de Sautuola
in 1879, sited in a hill close to Santillana del
Mar. They are the most important and famous Paleolithic
period caves over the world and one of the most
important jewels in Cantabria.
Main historic and
artistic interesting site in Cantabria. Its structure
and architecture of the High Middle Age is keeping
almost intact until nowadays. Collegiate Church
of Santa Juliana, the master roman art in Cantabria,
is the top culmination art of that village.
In Cabárceno
Natural Park formed by calcaire rocks, there is
a full fauna represented by various animals: bears,
wolves, tigers, deer, roe deer, …
Settled in one of the
most beautiful bays over the world. Mataleñas
and La Magdalena parks are standing out, and areas with
charm and history like El Sardinero, Paseo Pereda and
Castelar, are declared as historic and artistic area.
Located on the oriental
coast, is one of the most traditional seacoast towns.
Settled at the foot of the emblematic Buciero Mount,
in the Natural Reserve of the Santoña Marismas
(Salt marsh).
Its beauty makes it a
tourist destination very requested, to which is also
contributing the so much long Salvé Beach (one
of the best of the North of Spain) and the wonderful
night life.
It is a combination of
a modern town infrastructure and the charm and beauty
of the old area, where the best gothic church of Cantabria
and a medieval castle up the fishing port.
The capital and main city
of Campoo area. near Brañavieja ski station,
the marsh of Ebro river and the Julióbriga roman
ruins, the church of San Sebastián and many houses
of centuries XVIII and XIX.
The Picos de Europa National
Park is located in the Cantabrian Chain, between Asturias,
Leon and Cantabria. Singular, wonderful and interesting
landscape, natural and geological.
Capital and main city of
the Liébana area. Important tourist and cultural
site, very close to the National Picos de Europa Park,
the state-run hotel in Fuente Dé or Santo Toribio
Monastery.
