Is awarded the Blue Flag
from the EU, and its situation is along the Castellano
river mouth, in a place of spectacular beauty. It is
protected from the winds and the water is quiet and
very clear. When the tide is at its ebb, it is very
nice to have a walk over there.
Its hills are a protection
from the winds. It is located near the open sea and
is splashed with small rocks in a capricious way giving
it a brave appearance.
Urban, well-placed and
familiar, it is protected from the wind and waves and
so that it is very convenient for children who can explore
with no risk between rocks and puddles searching marine
fauna. It is located “at the foot of the promenade”.
It is also awarded Blue Flag.
Its name “Los Barcos”
(the Boats) is because it is used as a fishing port.
The Quejo river is flowing to it.
When low tide, it is possible to reach Noja by walk
but, making sure of the tide time!
A very nice creek located
inside the river from the Barcos Beach, all the family
will enjoy it.
That small sand tongue
is more far inside the river.
